For our media task this term we were asked to do a documentary film/photography/blog on something that we are passionate about and are interested in. After changing our mind multiple times the group (Tatum, Brooke and Wilfred) decided to work with the idea of animal cruelty which then lead to the Fur industry. Looking on the PETA website we found ample amounts information on the topic of the fur industry, we wish to inform other people of this so that then lead us to ask people from around our school (Bendigo Senior Secondary College) on their views of the fur industry and more importantly if they support the wearing of fur. 

This website gave us a lot of information that helped us and gave us a good understanding as to what went on.

The truth about fur

The truth about fur and what really goes on in this industry of ''fashion'' and the cruelty of how animals are being treated. China exports to many countries around the world including Australia. If the industry doesn't slow down and stop soon, this may be something we can no longer control and will cease to grow and continue this horrible behaviour that we are so strongly against. To create awareness and to see how many people are for this, we decided to create a blog and to ask a numerous amount of people if they support the wearing of fur. Our findings were that many people didn't know what really went on behind the scenes of the fur industry (fashion). The link below gives an outlook on how the animals are treated and what really does go on and the reasons why we are so strongly against it.
